This free seminar will provide an update for general practice on the prevention and early detection of head and neck cancers, as well as an overview of treatment options and the ongoing needs of patients.

- Summarise key changes to the demographics of head and neck cancer in Australia
- Identify important risk factors for head and neck cancer
- Summarise treatment options for head and neck cancers
- Describe the management of side effects of treatment
- Identify the psychosocial impacts of head and neck cancers, and the support services available to patients
- Summarise the role of the Cancer Nurse Coordinator
